Fund Manager profile

Martin Baxter is the lead manager of the Absolute Return Plus Fund and Head of Hedge Fund Research. Martin began his career trading futures and derivatives on the Sydney Futures Exchange before moving to Guernsey where he was a fund accountant for Barings, specialising in Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds. In 2004 Martin joined Collins Stewart to work on the Absolute Return Plus fund, firstly as an analyst and then as Deputy Manager. Martin became lead manager in October 2007.
